Craig Pawson will take charge of Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening.

Manchester City take on the first of their final four matches in the Premier League this weekend, knowing that should they manage to retain their recent 100 per cent record in the division, they will be crowned champions.

Pep Guardiola and his players are aiming to become the first side in Premier League history to win the division in four successive campaigns, while an FA Cup final is also being looked forward to at the end of the domestic season.

The meeting with Wolves will be followed by visits to Fulham and Tottenham in successive matches, before the final day of the campaign will see David Moyes’ West Ham side visit the Etihad Stadium.

City come into the meeting with Wolves with a fully-fit squad expected to be at the disposal of Pep Guardiola, with Ederson avoiding any serious problems after injury last weekend, whilst Phil Foden and Ruben Dias have overcome illness in the past week.

Ahead of Saturday evening’s clash between Manchester City and Wolves, the Premier League have confirmed all the information surrounding the team of match officials to take charge of the contest at the Etihad Stadium.

Match Referee

Craig Pawson has been confirmed as the man in the middle for Wolves’ visit to the Etihad Stadium this weekend, in what will be the 45-year-old’s 18th match of the ongoing Premier League season.

Pawson has so far issued a total of 75 yellow cards, dismissing players on three occasions, and awarding five penalty kicks this season, with his last Manchester City match coming in November and the 6-1 win over Bournemouth at the Etihad Stadium.

In matches officiated by Pawson, Manchester City have won 17 of the 26 fixtures, drawing on four occasions and losing five fixtures.

Assistant Referees

Accompanying Craig Pawson on the field will be Marc Perry and Steve Meredith, who have been appointed to the roles of assistant referees at the Etihad Stadium.

Video Assistant Referees

Overseeing matters from the Premier League’s VAR hub at Stockley Park will be Stuart Attwell in the role of VAR, whilst Natalie Aspinall has been confirmed as the Assistant VAR for this weekend’s fixture.

Fourth Official

Taking care of matters in the Etihad Stadium dugouts on Saturday evening will be Jarred Gillett.
