Confirmed: Atlético Madrid to face Premier League giants in 2 of first 3 UCL fixtures | OneFootball

La Liga giants Atlético Madrid are facing up to an altogether challenging start to the club’s ucpoming Champions League campaign.

This comes amid confirmation that two of the Rojiblancos’ first three fixtures will be played against Premier League opposition.

The scheduling for the league phase of the 2025/26 Champions League was revealed on Saturday.

For the aforementioned Atlético, as much meant finding out when exactly they would face the likes of Arsenal, Inter Milan and Galatasaray.

First on the agenda for Diego Simeone’s troops, though, is a showdown with the reigning English champions.

Atléti will take on Liverpool on September 17th at Anfield.

Then comes a home meeting with Eintracht Frankfurt, before the capital outfit head on the road again, on this occasion to lock horns with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
