Vinicius Jr. is on the brink of signing a massive new contract with Real Madrid, which will see him earn around €100 million net between 2025 and 2030.
As reported by AS, this renewal places the Brazilian forward among the highest-paid footballers in the world and on par with Real Madrid’s latest star signing, Kylian Mbappe.
Although the deal has not been officially signed yet, everything has been agreed. The signature is expected to happen once the La Liga season ends and before the Club World Cup begins.
The club sees Vinicius as untouchable, a player they want to build the future around, alongside Jude Bellingham and Mbappe.
The outlet mentions that Vinicius’s agent, Frederico Pena, prefers shorter contracts that give the player more control over his career.
That is why, instead of a much longer extension, the deal adds just three more years to his existing one, keeping him at the club until 2030.

This new deal also means Vinicius becomes the highest-paid player in the squad. When he last signed in 2022, his contract was worth €75 million over five years, an average of €15 million per season.
Now, with this renewal, he is set to earn close to €20 million net annually. Interestingly, Mbappe is currently earning around €15 million per season, meaning Vinicius will actually be paid more than the French superstar, at least on base salary.
The new deal is not just about salary. It includes several incentives tied to personal and team performance. From winning trophies to reaching a certain number of goals, Vinicius can earn even more.
The biggest bonuses are linked to prestigious awards. If he wins the Ballon d’Or or The Best. Like this season, he added €2 million on top of his yearly salary after winning the latter.
Vinicius has also shown remarkable loyalty. While clubs in Saudi Arabia were ready to throw a staggering €1 billion at him over five years, he did not even consider leaving. And Real Madrid never once thought of letting him go.
At the club, he is seen as essential, a star who defines this new generation alongside Mbappe and Jude Bellingham.
