Although the January mercato is heading towards the end, AC Milan remain active in their pursuit of talent, and a Premier League gem has popped up on their radar.

It seems that Milan will not let their search for attacking firepower die in January, and the club are being persistent in their attempts to find offensive reinforcement. Marcus Rashford was the touted name at the start of the window, but nothing came of the interest.

Joao Felix and Santiago Gimenez are the latest duo to be linked to a move to San Siro, but there are difficulties in both deals, meaning the Rossoneri are having to keep their option open.

Now, Calciomercato.com reports that the club are looking at Kevin Schade. The report suggests that assessments have already been made, but there are continued considerations about the German’s profile and availability.

A deal would be targeted in the summer, however, it is possible that the deal may already be out of their reach.

Napoli are considering the attacker after the departure of Kvicha Khvaratskhelia, alongside Alejandro Garnacho and Karim Adeyemi. The latter option also brings Borussia Dortmund into the equation – if Adeyemi departs, Schade is the top priority for the German outfit, according to Fabrizio Romano, whose report has been relayed by Calciomercato.

By all accounts, it seems the Diavolo are behind in the race, so if they want to land the Brentford star, they need to start making up ground.
