AC Milan’s scouting extends far past the borders of Italy and Europe. Today, a report has emerged, stating that they are interested in a young Argentine midfielder who is gaining interest from European clubs.

The upcoming window is massively important for Milan, and there is pressure on several areas. 2022’s summer mercato was a failure, and the 2023 edition was heavily improved. Now, though, there is the task to better that again, with the Rossoneri aiming for their second star next season.

With this in mind, Milan are once again interested in Argentinian midfielder Equi Fernandez (no relation to Enzo) from Boca Juniors, a report from CalcioMercato.com suggests. It is believed he may be worth €20 million.

However, they will face heavy competition from Benfica and Fiorentina, who are both heavily considering signing the prospect in the upcoming mercato.
