Clubs make enquiries over signing Oxford United youngster | OneFootball

Oxford United forward Will Goodwin has been the subject of enquiries from a host of League One and League Two clubs, who are keen to take the 23-year-old on loan, Hayters.com understands.

Goodwin has endured a difficult time with injury of late, playing 11 times in all competitions last season which also included a loan spell at League One Wigan Athletic.

But having recovered this summer, several League One and League Two clubs have expressed an interest in taking the striker on loan.

Goodwin enjoyed a successful spell at Cheltenham Town before making the move to Oxford in 2024, scoring seven times in 24 league games for the Robins.

He started his career at Chester, before making the move to Stoke City. He has also had loan spells at Hartlepool United and Torquay United too.

And he looks likely to leave the Kassam Stadium on a temporary basis again this season and is not short of potential suitors.
