Chelsea - Donald Trump
On Sunday night, Donald Trump made headlines during the Club World Cup final between PSG and Chelsea. The President of the United States took the opportunity to name his greatest player of all time.
Invited by FIFA to attend Sunday’s Club World Cup final between PSG and Chelsea (0-3), Donald Trump certainly didn’t keep a low profile at MetLife Stadium. The American president even dared to remain on the podium as the Blues celebrated their triumph.
Arriving early at the stadium, Trump spoke to DAZN and revealed his pick for the GOAT (greatest of all time). The billionaire completely overlooked Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
"In football? I’ll say Pelé. When I was young, they brought him to Major League Soccer, he played for the New York Cosmos (1975-1977). I don’t want to give away my age, but that was a long time ago. I was young and I came to see Pelé, who was fantastic. People will probably say I’m old, but I’d say Pelé was incredible," the American leader admitted.
