Fulham loanee Manor Solomon has been told that he should sign for Premier League leaders Arsenal during this summer’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old joined Fulham on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk during last year’s summer transfer window.

The winger’s season has been severely impacted by a serious injury. He missed the first few months of the 2022/23 campaign after undergoing knee surgery.

Solomon has returned to full fitness in recent weeks and he’s been in great form for Fulham. He went on a run of scoring in four consecutive league games to take his overall tally for the club to five in 14 appearances.

Fulham were pre-season favourites for relegation but they have surpassed expectations and are on course for a top-half finish under Marco Silva.

They will no doubt be keen to retain Solomon if he can remain fit, but they may face competition from rivals if his brilliant form continues before the end of the season.

Solomon played for Maccabi Petah Tikva before he joined Shakhtar Donetsk in 2019.

Maccabi Petah Tikva president Avi Luzon has predicted that Shatkhar will cash in on Solomon when the transfer window opens later this year.

He thinks he could cost as much as £17m and “he’s ready” to play for a club like Arsenal.

“They do have an interest in selling him, in order to get money,” Luzon told One.

“In my estimation, he will be sold for an amount between 10 and 20 million euros (£9m to £17m) to a team that will give Manor the opportunity to continue developing.

“He should receive a contract for five seasons and secure his future.

“In my opinion? (He should go) to Arsenal. I think he’s ready to play there.”

Solomon netted a late winner as Fulham beat Brighton 1-0 last month. Cottagers boss Marco Silva stated after the game that the winger is “getting better and better”.

“He deserves all the credit. Great finish from him. He’s getting better and better and better, He deserves it because 2022 was so difficult for him, on the pitch and off the pitch as well.

“Everything that has happened in his life, in his professional life as well. He is feeling better, he is helping the team, and he’s scoring goals.

“He’s enjoying the Premier League because he’s a boy who loves football. I am really pleased for him and he is ready to help us more and more.”
