PREVIOUS MEETING

Phil Foden was the hat-trick hero as City made it 24 matches unbeaten across all competitions with a 4-1 victory over Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium back in April 2024.

In the reverse fixture at Villa Park earlier this season, City slipped to a 2-1 defeat. Goals from Jhon Duran and Morgan Rogers did the damage, with Foden grabbing a late goal.

LAST TIME OUT

Our last Premier League encounter saw us claim a crucial 2-0 victory in our last trip to Goodison Park, with Nico O'Reilly and Mateo Kovacic scoring late goals.

Villa, meanwhile, defeated fellow Champions League chasers Newcastle United 4-1 at Villa Park.
