Guadalajara is 90 minutes away from advancing to the next round of the CONCACAF Champions Cup 2025, but first they must play the third and final chapter of the Mexican Clasico trilogy in March. Chivas achieved an important result in the first leg, as, in addition to taking a 1-0 lead on aggregate, they did not allow an away goal, so they are facing a very good match scenario and will be looking to finish the job this Wednesday night at the Ciudad de los Deportes Stadium.
There is no doubt that the Rebaño Sagrado has given its all in the first two matches against the Águilas, both in CONCACAF and Liga MX, and in order to replicate what was shown in those games, Gerardo Espinoza considered 26 Rojiblancos for the trip to Mexico City. There is a long-awaited new addition to the roster for the ChivaHermanos and we'll tell you more about it below.
- Víctor Guzmán, who played minutes last weekend with Chivas U-23, has left behind his fifth metatarsal injury and has been included in the squad to face América.
