Chelsea’s stats whilst having high possession and their away form has been cited as why a win at Nottingham Forest feels unlikely.

This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.

One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.

Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.

Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.

Forest game is everything

I actually feel pretty confident that Chelsea will win this game, which has been unusual for me lately. I think they are in bad form, are having off field issues, and are very much there for the taking. They’ve also been conceding more goals lately.

But not everyone agrees with me on that one.

The forecast is not good

Alex Keble of The Premier League website writes:

‘For several reasons, a Chelsea win on Sunday doesn’t feel likely.

‘Forest fans will create an intimidating atmosphere but, more importantly, Murillo and Milenkovic will fancy themselves against a Chelsea attack missing Jackson.

‘Chelsea have the 11th-best away form in the Premier League this season and have won just one of their last 11 away from Stamford Bridge.

‘This season Chelsea have only won two of their seven matches in which they’ve held 65 per cent or more of the ball.

‘One of those seven was a 1-1 draw against Forest at Stamford Bridge.’
