There is some real unrest out there once again amongst Chelsea supporters right now as they read about all these apparent names to come in and replace the departed Mauricio Pochettino.

We are seeing some wild and uninspired names to say the least, and most of them are truly inexperienced and some have not even managed in top flight football before.

Sources: Chelsea have discussed the son of former successful Blues manager for role at the club!

Chelsea look like they are ready to ignore fan anger once again and go against them with a new appointment, if the latest news is true.

Apparently Ipswich Town’s Kieran McKenna is the leading candidate to take the role and he is also keen on it. But this news is not going down well amongst the majority of the Chelsea fan base, and it’s not even going down well for one current staff member at the club either.

Former Chelsea player Jason Cundy still works at the club commentating on games for Chelsea TV, and he is also now a pundit on talkSPORT as well. Cundy gave his reactions to the McKenna links yesterday and it’s safe to say he is more than concerned about it.

What has Cundy said?

His words will resonate with Chelsea fans and many will hold these same fears and concerns, IF McKenna is hired as the new Chelsea head coach.

Cundy said: “I’d find McKenna a very strange appointment, can’t sit here and say I’d be delighted. He’s never managed a game in the Premier League.”

He’s absolutely spot on here. McKenna would be a HUGE risk for Chelsea, probably one of the riskiest appointments they could make. Why on earth would they be thinking down this route when they have spent the last two seasons hiring and firing managers and have just lost another one?? It seems absolutely absurd to me.
