Milan have reportedly been in contact with Premier League side Chelsea over a possible deal for Portugal international Joao Felix in the January transfer window, but Enzo Maresca’s side have already made their stance clear according to Friday’s reports.

Reports on Friday morning suggested that Milan are interested in a deal for Joao Felix as an alternative option to Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford, as the Rossoneri look to provide Sergio Conceicao with another attacking option for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

Chelsea say no to Milan loan approach for Joao Felix

However, according to updates from Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea have made it clear that they are not interested in loaning out Joao Felix in January.

Though he has struggled to nail down a place in Maresca’s starting XI this season, largely due to the presence of Cole Palmer in his preferred role, Joao Felix is considered a valuable member of the squad and is not going to be allowed to leave easily this month.

Milan’s search for an attacker continues. There is still hope for Rashford, even though United are unwilling to contribute to his wages if he does leave on loan, while Borussia Dortmund’s Giovanni Reyna has also been mentioned as a possible option.
