Christopher Nkunku’s future at Chelsea is looking increasingly uncertain as top European clubs show interest in the forward. Graeme Bailey from TBR Football reported that the 27-year-old could leave Stamford Bridge as soon as January, with his representatives exploring potential moves.
After joining Chelsea from RB Leipzig for £52 million in 2023, Nkunku has struggled to secure a regular spot in the starting lineup, sparking speculation about his next move.
Journalist Ben Jacobs has mentioned that Paris Saint-Germain is seriously considering bringing Nkunku back to Ligue 1, although no official bid has been made yet. At the same time, Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sports Germany has reported that Bayern Munich is pushing to sign the forward immediately.
The German giants have reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Nkunku on a long-term contract, with all terms settled. The forward is said to be eager to make the move to Bayern as soon as possible.

ESPN’s Rob Dawson reports that Manchester United and Chelsea are looking into a swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho and Nkunku.
In addition, Sky Sports News mentioned on Friday that Manchester United are eyeing the French forward as a possible target to strengthen their attack this January.
“Christopher Nkunku is a potential target for Manchester United in this window,” Michael Bridge said. “Talks are understood to have been held between intermediaries about a move. Chelsea do not want to sell Nkunku, but it is thought they would be tempted to do business for £70 million. He is a player United are considering, but they are unlikely to meet the £70 million figure.”
