Chelsea have been linked with a summer move for Juventus ace Kenan Yildiz (h/t Foot Mercato).

The Blues are set to continue their talent-hoarding strategy this summer, and Yildiz could be the next high-potential youngster who joins the club.

Chelsea are currently focused on qualifying for the Champions League and winning the Europa Conference League.

Anything less could spell trouble for manager Enzo Maresca, whose relationship with the club faithful is already at a breaking point.

While Maresca navigates on-field issues, Chelsea are already planning to shake up their squad again. Yildiz is one of several players on their radar.

They have reached out to Juventus and are looking to step up talks with the player’s representatives.

Chelsea are not the only club mesmerised by the Turkish prodigy, but they’re reportedly in the driving seat.

While there has been contact between both clubs, Juventus are not enthused about the prospect of losing Yildiz.

They recognise his outrageous potential and are wary of making the same mistake they made with Dean Huijsen, who is now highly coveted just one year after leaving Turin.

Yildiz’s current deal has four years left to run, but Juventus are willing to offer him an improved contract to fend off interested parties.

The only problem is that they’re not in the strongest financial position, so they could be tempted to sell if Chelsea submit a lucrative offer.

Yildiz has bagged eight goals and five assists in 44 games across all competitions this season.
