Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Omari Hutchinson is most likely to go out on loan again this summer, revealing this information to Give Me Sport.

The 20-year-old currently plies his trade for Chelsea, but it's unclear whether he's going to win much game time at Stamford Bridge next season.

Some of their younger players, including Cesare Casadei, may have become a part of Mauricio Pochettino's first-team squad.

But Hutchinson needs to start regularly to give himself the best chance of fulfilling his potential in the future.

Spending the 2023/24 campaign at Ipswich Town, he was able to get plenty of game time under his belt and made a real difference for the Tractor Boys during their promotion-winning season.

A return to Portman Road could be a great option for him, but Ipswich aren't the only team thought to be keen on him, with clubs from across Europe taking an interest in the 20-year-old.

His contract at Stamford Bridge runs out next summer, but the Blues are set to offer him a new deal and if he puts pen to paper on a new contract, Pochettino's side will have the power to either sell him or loan him out.

Update on Omari Hutchinson's future amid Ipswich Town return links

Both the Blues and Hutchinson have big decisions to make this summer - and Romano has revealed what the most likely outcome is for the latter.

He told Give Me Sport: "Omari Hutchinson, for instance, will be an interesting one to follow after his fine form on loan at Ipswich Town.

"There will be a meeting between Omari’s camp and Chelsea to discuss his future.

"There are clubs in Eredivisie, Bundesliga, and Premier League keen on signing him on loan.

"Another loan solution for next season is the most likely, as I’m hearing that Chelsea want him to play on a regular basis, while Ipswich also hope to keep him."

Hutchinson's goal on the final day against Huddersfield Town was a reminder to Ipswich about just how important he was.

Omari Hutchinson should consider Ipswich Town return

Hutchinson developed extremely well under Kieran McKenna - and it wouldn't be the worst idea for him to return to Portman Road.

It would be difficult to see the Tractor Boys spending huge amounts in all areas, so there's a chance that the 20-year-old could win plenty of game time next season.

Game time will be very important for the player, so he needs assurances that he will be able to get some pitch minutes under his belt again during the 2024/25 campaign.

He deserves the opportunity to play in the top tier following some brilliant performances last season, but he can't spend most of 2024/25 on the bench, that's for sure.

If there are other top-tier teams offering him more game time, he should probably reject a move to Ipswich, but another agreement with the Tractor Boys could be an excellent outcome for all parties.

It remains to be seen whether he will be loaned out if he doesn't sign a new deal though.
