PSG have reportedly been keeping a close eye on a standout Chelsea loanee who’s been turning heads in Ligue 1 this season. This fits with PSG’s ongoing approach of targeting young, high-upside players who have already proven themselves in the French top flight.
One player getting serious attention is Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos, currently on loan at RC Strasbourg from Chelsea. The 21-year-old has quickly become one of Ligue 1’s breakout stars, playing a crucial role in Strasbourg’s push for a Champions League spot. His strong performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with several top European clubs showing interest.
CaughtOffside reported last month that Arsenal are among the teams monitoring Santos after his impressive loan spell. Despite limited opportunities at Chelsea, he’s still seen as a high-potential talent. The report also hints that Santos might be reluctant to return to Stamford Bridge, which could open the door for a permanent move elsewhere.
A transfer this summer definitely seems possible, with a potential price tag between €45 million and €50 million. Along with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle, PSG, and AC Milan are all reportedly keeping tabs on his situation. That said, for now, these remain just rumors.

According to SPORT, Chelsea could look to sell Andrey Santos this summer. The midfielder has impressed during his loan spell at Strasbourg, and with his market value now estimated between €50 million and €60 million, the club may see this as the ideal time to cash in.
This report comes after co-owner Todd Boehly confirmed at the Qatar Economic Forum that Chelsea have plans for Santos and have no intention of selling the Brazilian midfielder this summer.
“We are laser focused on the Club World Cup,” Boehly said. “We have some players that are joining us [like] Andrey Santos. We are really excited about him and what he can add to the squad.”
Recently, Le10Sport reported, citing sources, that Arsenal are pushing hard to sign the 21-year-old Brazilian standout. Behind the scenes, there’s talk of a potential bidding war with PSG. But Chelsea aren’t likely to let their young star go without a fight.
A previous report from Fichajes said PSG and AC Milan are keeping an eye on Santos ahead of the summer transfer window. Should Strasbourg reach the Champions League, it will be interesting to see what Chelsea decides to do with the Brazilian.
