Dinamo Zagreb are reportedly targeting a deal for Celtic defender Greg Taylor. The 27-year-old is entering the final months of his contract with Celtic and is free to discuss pre-contract terms with interested parties.
Zagreb, who held Celtic in the UEFA Champions League earlier this month, have emerged as potential suitors for the Scotland Internationalist. According to Sun Sport, Croatia media have linked Taylor with Dinamo Zagreb where new manager Fabio Cannavaro has reportedly put Taylor high on his list of signing targets.

Taylor will see this as one of his last big contracts and will see himself in a favouarble position to discuss terms with teams, given that he will not cost a fee. Brendan has said that he wants Taylor to sign a new contract but the player will likely be tempted to try his hand elsewhere – such as England or Italy.
Taylor and Boli Bolingoli were signed in the summer of 2019 tasked with replacing Kieran Tierney, who left for Arsenal in a £25m deal that year. Taylor initially struggled to get into the team but has grown into a fine first team player, forming a key part of the successful sides under Ange and Brendan. Taylor has made 196 appearances for Celtic, scoring 9 times and assisting on 30 occasions.
Celtic have been linked with a sensational return for Tierney, who is set to leave Arsenal in the summer. The 27-year-old is able to sign a pre-contract with Celtic now and could even be avaliable to complete his Arsenal deal on loan. Celtic have been heavily linked with a deal but it remains to be seen whether this is something that the club can get over the line. Given Tierney’s injury history, Brendan would want two leftbacks to offer competition for the position. Taylor will want first team football and a contract that reflects that and if Tierney is returning, he will likely be considering his options.
