In an announcement on Twitter/X, CAA Base confirmed the arrival of the Celtic striker.

In 133 appearances for Celtic, Kyogo has scored 73 times and assisted 15 goals for the club, winning seven trophies in that time. At 29, the player is in his peak years but will also be mindful that there are better earning opportunities outside of The Scottish Champions.

The news might’ve somewhat unsettling for Celtic supporters given that CAA Base helped facilitate Ange Postecoglou’s move to Spurs as well as Rocco Vata’s departure to Watford. With that said, they are one of the leading agencies and they only attract the best and brightest talents.

It is a strange move as Kyogo signed a new deal last summer. The player has been the subject of interest from the J League but may also fancy a crack at a move to another side in Europe.

You would imagine that Celtic would demand towards £20m for the player as they look to protect their batch of stars. However, with no other strikers in the door, the club can ill-afford to entertain conversations about selling players.
