Celta Vigo are currently in a tough spot. They haven’t won a match since January 5th, with a win against Racing Santander in the Copa del Rey, and haven’t yet gotten a win in the league in 2025.
Things aren’t looking any better for the Galician club either, as they are reporting on their social media that their winger Franco Cervi is set to miss three weeks of action.
The 30-year-old has made just 10 appearances for Celta this season, making four La Liga starts, but had been starting to get regular game time in recent weeks.
This adds to the Celta Vigo injury list, as the club are currently without their club captain Iago Aspas, who hasn’t played in a month and will miss the majority of February.
With the club sitting just four points above the relegation zone in 13th, they need to start finding some form or else they might have a relegation battle on their hands in the coming months.
