A deal involving Manchester midfielder Casemiro to Roma remains too hard to envision, writes today’s edition of Leggo.
According to English sources, the Brazilian has apparently given his approval to a transfer to the Giallorossi, after the difficulties he encountered at Manchester United.
The main problem remains his salary: Casemiro earns 11.5 million euros per season, an unsustainable figure for Roma.
The only solution would be a loan with part of his salary covered by the English club which is unlikely to happen at this point.
Furthermore, to make room for the Brazilian, Roma would have to sell at least one midfielder.
Fiorentina and Boca Juniors are on the trail of Cristante and Paredes respectively, but at the moment no negotiations are at an advanced stage.
