Excelsior will sign 18-year-old South Korean winger Do-young Yoon on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. The teenage talent is already in the Netherlands to complete his transfer, according to Voetbal International.

VI explain that, “if Yoon passes the medical in Kralingen, Excelsior will have a major talent at their disposal next season.” Brighton previously paid two million euros to Deajeon Hana to bring the South Korean youth international to the south of England, and now he can gain some valuable experience in the Eredivisie.

“Yoon is widely regarded as one of Asia’s brightest talents,” said Brighton sporting director David Weir in March upon the signing.

Yoon will become the seventh signing of the summer for newly promoted Excelsior, following goalkeeper Stijn van Gassel, defenders Stan Henderickx and Lewis Schouten, midfielders Adam Carlén and Mathijs Tielemans, and forward Gyan de Regt. Standout Lance Duijvestijn has left for Sparta Rotterdam.
