Eric Roy doesn’t have any fresh injury concerns as Stade Brestois prepare for a historic night as they make their UEFA Champions League debut, against Sturm Graz, in Guingamp.
Some of the magic of the moment will be taken away as Brest will not be playing in their home stadium, the Stade Francis Le-Blé, as it doesn’t meet UEFA regulations. However, Roy’s focus will be on securing an all-important win. For the encounter, Brest don’t have any fresh injury concerns.
Pierre Lees-Melou, injured at the end of last season, is still out, although he is nearing a return. Bradley Locko, who suffered an ACL injury just before the start of the campaign, will be sidelined for much, if not all, of the season. Roy has options up front. He is expected to go with a trio of Abdallah Sima, Ludovic Ajorque and Romain Del Castillo. The likes of Mathias Pereira Lage, Kamory Doumbia, and Romain Favire may have to settle for places on the bench.
