Tottenham Hotspur could sell several players in the summer transfer window as Ange Postecoglou wants to sculpt the squad to his taste.

The Spurs manager recently made it clear that the club needs to bring in more quality players to progress. He must make tough decisions and sell players to free up space and wages.

Emerson Royal is one of the players who could leave the club. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 25-year-old is wanted by Serie A giants AC Milan.

Italian journalist Matteo Moretto further added that Spurs value him at slightly less than £17 million, and Milan could be able to afford him.

Milan have been tracking him for the past few months and gathered information during the previous summer transfer window. Royal has a contract at Spurs until 2026.

The Brazilian defender joined Spurs from Barcelona in 2021. He has made 100 appearances and scored four goals.

He has made only 11 starts in the Premier League this term, while a further 10 appearances have come from the bench. His overall performances have been average, and Spurs will look to cash in on him this summer.

Tottenham still have an outside chance of making it into the top four this season. They need to win their remaining games and hope Aston Villa drop points on the final day of the season.
