Carlos Augusto believes that Inter Milan have the “experience” to nevigate the choppy waters after the Champions League final.
The Brazilian spoke to CazeTV, via FCInterNews, during Inter’s stay in the US for the Club World Cup.
Inter Milan suffered the worst result in recent memory on the biggest stage imaginable. The Nerazzurri fell to an absolutely chastening 5-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain.
That was a bitter psychological blow all the moreso considering that Inter had gone into the final with so much hope.
However, Inter can hardly afford to dwell on that bitter disappointment of that result.
The Nerazzurri have other commitments already. They are in the United States for the Club World Cup. That certainly represents an opportunity to change the momentum.
So far, Inter have drawn 1-1 with Mexican side Monterrey in their opener.
That result was a sign that Inter have not collapsed completely following their massive loss to PSG. However, it would also seem to indicate that there is still far more work for the Nerazzurri to do.

Inter Milan wingback Carlos Augusto gave his thoughts on recovering from the Champions League final.
“Football is very dynamic,” said the 26-year-old.
“Clearly, no one wants to lose a match 5-0. Let a alone a final.”
“It’s normal that you’re going to think about it,” Augusto admitted.
“But football gives you the chance to move forward by playing new matches.”
The Brazilian added that “it’s still a loss that leaves its mark.”
