Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Bayer Leverkusen winger Amine Adli this summer, according to journalist Santi Aouna.
A verbal agreement has already been reached with the Moroccan youngster, and the Cherries are working towards finalising the transfer fee with the German club.
The Premier League club are confident that the deal will materialise in the coming days. Adli is valued at around €25 million.
Meanwhile, Leverkusen have lined up Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche as a potential replacement for Adli.
With Dango Ouattara attracting interest from Brentford, the Cherries manager Andoni Iraola is keen on strengthening the attack in this transfer window.
Outtarra made a significant impact for the Cherries last season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in all competitions. His departure would leave a huge void in the squad.
Adli had a quiet last season, but that will not undermine his brilliant 2023/24 campaign for Leverkusen.
The 25-year-old racked up 10 goals and 12 assists, leading Die Werkself to the Bundesliga title and DFB Cup.
The Moroccan international can play across multiple positions in the attack and as an attacking midfielder. His versatility and high work rate make him a great fit for the Cherries.
Meanwhile, Iraola’s men have welcomed Eli Junior Kroupi after a stellar Ligue 2 season with Lorient.
The 19-year-old, who was signed by the Cherries in February, netted 22 goals for the French outfit in the 2024/25 campaign.
After losing prominent members such as Dean Huijsen, Illia Zabarnyi and Milos Kirkez, the Cherries are putting in their efforts to rebuild the squad.
They have added goalkeeper Djordge Petrovic and left-back Adrien Truffert to the ranks in this window.
Lille centre-back Bafode Diakite will be the next signing in a deal worth £34 million.
