Bosz, Farioli, Simonis? Manager of the year nominees announced in the Netherlands | OneFootball

Coaches Betaald Voetbal have announced the nominees for this year’s Rinus Michels Awards.

Peter Bosz (PSV), Paul Simonis (Go Ahead Eagles), Francesco Farioli (Ajax) and Ron Jans (FC Utrecht) are all shortlisted for Trainer/Coach of the Year in the Eredivisie.

PSV’s title-winning coach Bosz can equal an achievement by Erik ten Hag with a victory, claiming the award for a potential third time.

Rick Kruys (FC Volendam), Ruben den Uil (Excelsior), Anthony Correia (Telstar) and Melvin Boel (FC Dordrecht) have been nominated for the Rinus Michels Award in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Kruys, Den Uil and Correia guided their clubs to the Eredivisie this year. For Telstar, this was particularly poignant, marking a return after 47 years.

Roeland ten Berge (PSV) and Joran Pot (FC Twente) are in the race for the title Trainer/Coach of the Year in the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie. The winners, elected by fellow trainers in professional football, will be announced on the 2nd of July during the National Football Coach Congress at Papendal.
