The recurring injuries to Francesco Acerbi have caused the Nerazzurri to have serious doubts about the Italian international’s reliability.

Therefore, Inter could sign an emergency replacement or backup this month.

Mediaset confirm recent reports that Inter’s coach and club directors are planning to hold an emergency transfer summit soon.

And the broadcaster anticipate that there are two targets in particular Inter are keen on in the event that they do make an emergency defensive signing.

Both of the names Inter are looking at are within Serie A, reports Mediaset.

One would be Bologna defender Sam Beukema.

Meanwhile, Empoli defender Ardian Ismajli is also a big name on Inter’s list, reports Mediaset.

The broadcaster also note that, because Ismajli’s contract with Empoli runs out at the end of June, a loan move for the 28-year-old would not be a possibility.
