Bayern Munich have confirmed that midfielder Georgia Stanway has undergone surgery on a ruptured LCL on her right knee.
The England star now faces 'several months' on the sidelines, according to the club's official press release, which puts her at risk of missing this summer's Euros.

The 26-year-old moved to Bayern in 2022 from Manchester City, and has become an integral part of the side, making 84 appearances and scoring 22 goals.
Stanway has also featured on 71 occasions for the Lionesses, with 21 international goals to her name.
