Walsall boss Mat Sadler has admitted that injured Birmingham City loanee George Hall was showing what he is all about and made it clear that Blues and the Saddlers will provide the midfielder with everything he needs.
The 20-year-old midfielder is considered a top prospect at Blues and earlier in his career had interest from a host of top sides.
In the summer, Hall was loaned out to League Two side Walsall, but he has started only four league games so far.
Now he has picked up an injury and Walsall boss Sadler insisted that the club are gutted for the midfielder.
The Saddlers’ boss feels Hall was showing his ability and he is clear that as soon as he is back from his injury, the performances will continue.
“[I am] gutted for Halley, absolutely gutted for him and I am not 100 per cent clear on what that [injury] is at the moment yet”, Sadler told Walsall’s media about the Blues loan star.
“But, ourselves, Birmingham will all rally around George to make sure that he gets the right stuff that he needs to get back.
“Because I thought George was showing everyone what he is all about and he will continue to do that when he gets back from this injury, that is 100 per cent the case.
“We are gutted for him that we will lose him for this spell and hopefully he will be back in good time.
“But it is definitely a spell on the sidelines for George.”
It remains to be seen how long Hall will be out of action for and whether Birmingham might want him back to work on getting him fit again.
