Paris Saint-Germain have announced their squad to face Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final. Unsurprisingly, the big names that were left out of the squad to face Le Havre AC on Saturday, have returned.
With the Ligue 1 title already almost guaranteed at the time, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Fabián Ruiz, Nuno Mendes and Lucas Hernandez were all left out of the squad to face Le Havre. Whilst PSG failed to wrap up the title on Saturday, AS Monaco’s loss against Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday saw Les Parisiens crowned for the third successive season.
There was a slight concern surrounding the fitness of Mendes, however, he has been deemed fit and as well as being included in Luis Enrique’s 24-man matchday squad, he is expected to start, as per L’Équipe.
