The Canaries have signed a new forward for a reported initial fee of £6.9 million.
Norwich City have signed Danish forward Mathias Kvistgaarden from Brondby IF.
The Canaries faced competition from Ligue 1 side RC Lens in the race to sign the 23-year-old, before it was revealed that he wanted a move to England.
It has been confirmed that the striker has joined the club on a four-year contract, adding firepower to Norwich's squad ahead of what is set to be a competitive promotion race in the Championship next season.
Norwich have paid an initial fee of £6.9 million to bring Kvistgaarden to Carrow Road, with add-ons and a sell-on clause also included in the deal, according to Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joseph.
Porto are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Borja Sainz for £15 million, while the Canaries also want around £20 million for Josh Sargent amid interest from Burnley, as per BBC Sport.
Liam Manning will hope that Kvistgaarden can provide the goals that Norwich will be missing if both Sainz and Sargent depart, as those two players scored 33 goals between them in the Championship last season.
Sky Sports pundit, Lee Hendrie, spoke exclusively to Football League World about Norwich's signing of Kvistgaarden, stating that while the deal is a somewhat risky one, he is a player who has got goals in him.
"Yeah, you do think that Norwich will be looking for that replacement for Josh Sargent," Hendrie said.
"Kvistgaarden, I think, knowing how Norwich work and their model of bringing players in, they have done it time and time again. They just seem to find players, and obviously this boy looks like he has got a bit of everything.
"He can play in a number of positions - left wing, attacking midfield, striker. He has got goals in him.
"It is a big gamble. I mean, if the reported fee is going to be paid, they will want to make sure that this is the right one for them. I think it would be.
"It is always going to be a gamble, not knowing if they can make the step-up into the Championship, but you certainly think from looking at his numbers that he could be one that could be looked at this season."
It will be vital for Norwich to make a good start to the season as they look to mount a promotion push in the Championship following the disappointment of finishing 13th in the table last term.
If Borja Sainz and Josh Sargent are both sold, then it will be imperative for Kvistgaarden to hit the ground running in order to help the Canaries gather momentum during the early weeks of the campaign.
After Sainz and Sargent, who netted 18 and 15 league goals respectively last season, no other Norwich player reached double figures for goals in the Championship, with Ante Crnac's return of seven being the next highest.
There could be pressure on Kvistgaarden to adapt to English football quickly, so Norwich supporters should take some encouragement from the fact that Hendrie expects him to impress.
