Bayer Leverkusen set sights on Strasbourg’s Ismaël Doukouré | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace have been extremely active in the current transfer window, registering 12 new recruits. However, thus far, there have been very few departures. That could change as the new Ligue 1 season approaches.

The likes of Andrey Santos and Djordje Petrović returned to Chelsea upon the expiry of their loan deals, with the latter since leaving to join Bournemouth, whilst Habib Diarra has also left the club for a club-record fee.

There could yet be two big outgoings. Dilane Bakwa, a target for Nottingham Forest, could leave. The Premier League side’s €28m bid has been rejected, as per L’Équipe, with Strasbourg holding out for between €30-35m.

Ismaël Doukouré could also be allowed to leave. The Frenchman has previously been linked with a move to the Bundesliga. As per Mohamed Toubache-Ter, Bayer Leverkusen are now looking to do a deal for Doukouré, whose current deal at Strasbourg runs until the end of the coming season.
