Christoph Baumgartner says RB Leipzig's players need to "look in the mirror" after Tuesday night's 3-1 Champions League defeat to Celtic.
Baumgartner put Leipzig ahead in the first half, only for Celtic to come back and win the game 3-1.
"We didn't come into the game in the best possible way, then we took the lead and had a period where we did very well. After the equaliser, Celtic were definitely the better team," said Baumgartner, according to RBLive.de.
The defeat is Leipzig's second in a row, following a 2-1 loss to Borussia Dortmund last weekend.
"We have been missing something in the last two games. Everyone has to look in the mirror and ask themselves if they're doing enough," Baumgartner said.
RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose spoke in the same vein, saying that he was disappointed that Leipzig didn't get back into the game in the second half in the way that they had planned to.
"At the moment, we're not getting to the level we need as a team to win games," Rose admitted.
