Barcelona youngster attracting transfer interest from across Europe | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona is the subject of growing transfer interest from across the continent.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who highlight Héctor Fort as the player in question.

The name of full-back Fort has of course emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the last 24 hours.

This comes amid mounting speculation surrounding the 18-year-old’s Barcelona future.

After being left on the bench for the entirety of the club’s pre-season opener against Vissel Kobe, it has been reported that Fort could soon be on the move.

Whilst some outlets have pointed towards a loan as being the most likely outcome, others have suggested that a permanent transfer for the youngster can’t be ruled out.

And should Barcelona choose to move ahead with such a move, then Fort is unlikely to be short on suitors.

As per a report from Sport:

‘The full-back, about to turn 19 and under contract until 2029, is a very attractive player for many European clubs because whenever he has played he has shown that he has the quality to play in the elite.’
