According to a recent report from SPORT, Barcelona are willing to listen to offers for young midfielder Fermin Lopez.
While selling him is not a priority for the club, they will seriously consider any significant bids that arrive, especially if Fermin himself is open to a move.
One of the main reasons behind this stance is the growing competition in his position and the need to reduce the wage bill so the club can make other key signings this summer.
Right now, Fermin is still a part of Hansi Flick’s plans. However, the arrival of new players like Nico Williams and Joan Garcia means the club needs to balance its salary commitments.
The sporting department is aware that Barcelona’s midfield and attacking midfield positions are getting crowded, which could limit Fermin’s chances of regular playing time.
That is why his name is one of those being considered for a potential sale if the right offer comes in.
Flick’s new Barcelona setup will look quite different, especially with the addition of Nico Williams. The team will have two wingers, with Lamine Yamal on one side and Nico on the other.

Raphinha is expected to move into a more central attacking role, where he will compete with players like Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres, and even Pau Victor if he stays at the club.
This leaves very little room for Fermin to get consistent minutes on the pitch. The midfield competition is already fierce, with Frenkie de Jong and Pedri almost guaranteed starting spots.
Despite all these challenges, Fermin has always made it clear that he wants to stay at Barcelona for many years.
However, interest from major European clubs continues to grow. Bayern Munich are keeping tabs on him in Germany, while Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United are watching his situation closely in England.
If any of these clubs decide to make a strong offer, Barcelona will have a big decision to make about the talented young midfielder’s future.
