Barcelona star ‘very close’ to move to Serie A | OneFootball

A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is closing on an imminent move to Italy, with Como.

That’s according to journalist Jose Alvarez Haya of El Chiringuito TV, who points towards Iñaki Peña.

It has of course long been speculated in the media that shot-stopper Peña would be on the move before the summer is out.

This comes with the arrival of Joan García in Hansi Flick’s squad having culminated in the 26-year-old slipping ever further down the pecking order between the posts.

A whole host of clubs across Spain and beyond, in turn, have been credited with an interest in Peña’s services.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media early this week is anything to go by, then one such suitor now appear all set to land the Spaniard.

As per a report from the aforementioned Jose Alvarez Haya:

“Iñaki Peña is very close to Cesc Fàbregas’ Como.”
