Barcelona star sends warning to the club’s board amid transfer push | OneFootball

Barcelona star Marc-André ter Stegen has this week made clear to the club once more that he will not alow himself to be forced out this summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have confirmed that the German has sent something of a warning the way of Deco and the Camp Nou brass.

Goalkeeper Ter Stegen’s name has of course proven an altogether prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over recent weeks.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that those behind the scenes at Barcelona have made the call to sanction his sale.

With Joan García’s arrival now confirmed, Ter Stegen’s considerable wages make him something of a burden to the Blaugrana.

And yet, the 33-year-old has for his part remained nothing short of adamant that he will be going nowhere this summer.

So much so that, as alluded to above, Ter Stegen has this week sent a stern message to those in a position of power at the Camp Nou.

As per Sport, this message was as follows: Either you pay me the enirety of my wages for the remaining two years on my contract to facilitate a termination, or I will stay put to fight for my place in Hansi Flick’s squad.
