Barcelona star João Félix bags La Liga award | OneFootball

A headline member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Monday secured for himself a prestigious individual award.

The player in question? João Félix.

Frontman Félix, for his part, has continued to play something of a bit-part role for Xavi’s Barcelona across the month of April, forced to make do with appearances off the bench in four of the club’s five outings.

On his one start across this stretch, though, it is safe to say that the Portuguese made his presence very much felt.

Featuring from the off against Cádiz a little over two weeks ago, Félix netted the only goal of the game, in nothing short of spectacular fashion.

After seeing the ball pop up in the air following a Barcelona corner from the right, the on-loan Atlético Madrid man adjusted his feet, before directing a brilliant bicycle kick into the bottom corner.

And as much, it has today been revealed, proved enough to earn Félix an award.

As per an official statement across La Liga’s website and social media platforms, the 24-year-old’s strike against Cádiz has been voted Goal of the Month for April:
