Barcelona star Raphinha has on Saturday evening continued to add to an altogether impressive personal La Liga benchmark.
This comes owing to his exploits in the Blaugrana’s meeting with Real Valladolid.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action, in a league meeting with La Liga basement dwellers Valladolid at the Estadio José Zorrilla.
Raphinha was for his part forced to make do with a spot on the bench from the off, in a bid to afford the Brazilian some much-needed rest between a pair of Champions League semi-final clashes with Italian champions Inter Milan.
With his side trailing by a goal to nil, though, at the interval, Hansi Flick opted to introduce Raphinha to the fray.
And the former Leeds United man wasted no time at all in making his impact felt.
Less than 10 minutes into the 2nd-half, Raphinha slotted a cool finish into the Real Valladolid net, a strike since added to by Fermín López.
And in the process, the 28-year-old built on a head-turning La Liga benchmark.
As revealed by statisticians StatMuse, Raphinha is the only player in Spain’s top-flight this season to have managed at least 15 goals and five assists.
The winger’s tally currently stands at 16 goals and nine assists.
