Barcelona & Real Madrid stars nominated for La Liga Player of the Month | OneFootball

Key attackers from Spanish football’s biggest clubs have been included on the shortlist for the La Liga Player of the Month award.

As much was confirmed across social media on Wednesday evening.

From table-topping Barcelona, Robert Lewandowski gets the nod, after carrying his goalscoring excellence through the month of October. The 36-year-old has to date managed five goals in just two league appearances this month.

Turning attentions towards Real Madrid, and the in-form Vinícius Jr. is also rewarded for his efforts with a place on the shortlist for the prize.

On the other half of the capital, meanwhile, Antoine Griezmann’s excellence earns him a nomination, with Real Sociedad standout Mikel Oyarzabal and Athletic Club’s Álex Berenguer rounding out the candidates for October Player of the Month.

Elsewhere, the men on the touchline at all of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Real Sociedad have been recognised, too.

This comes by way of a further announcement that Hansi Flick, Carlo Ancelotti and Imanol are the nominees for La Liga Manager of the Month.
