According to SPORT, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is ready to do whatever it takes to make a dream move to Barcelona happen this summer.
Currently on loan at Aston Villa, the English international has grown increasingly determined to join the Blaugrana and is even prepared to force his way out of Old Trafford to secure the transfer.
Rashford has taken active steps towards this goal by turning to renowned agent Pini Zahavi to facilitate the deal. Zahavi, who has strong ties to the Barça hierarchy, was instrumental in bringing both Robert Lewandowski and Hansi Flick to the club.
To make the operation more viable for the Catalan club, Rashford’s entourage has already presented several options to Barça, including the possibility of a season-long loan with an option to buy.
However, Manchester United are not in favour of a temporary solution. The English club are pushing for a permanent sale and are said to be demanding a fee in the region of £40 million, a figure Aston Villa, his current club, would be willing to meet.

What is perhaps most revealing is Rashford’s readiness to accept a pay cut if it means playing at Barcelona. The forward is one of the Premier League’s highest earners, and his current wage packet is far beyond Barça’s financial means.
However, Rashford reportedly views the move to Barcelona as a once-in-a-career opportunity to reignite his form and join a project he sees as ambitious and built for long-term success.
Rashford appears to have no future at Old Trafford and is keen to take control of his destiny, even if it means walking away from lucrative offers from the Premier League or Saudi Arabia. His heart is set on Barcelona.
For now, the Catalans are taking a cautious approach. They are aware of Rashford’s interest and appreciate both his quality and his fit within the current sporting project. Still, no final decision has been made.
Barça remain focused on signing a top-level winger this summer, but they are weighing up all their options before committing. Rashford could indeed be the profile they want, but timing and financial flexibility will be key.
With Rashford’s willingness to sacrifice financially and make a push from his end, the ball is now in Barça’s court. The question is whether the club will act quickly enough, or if the Englishman’s patience will wear thin amid rival offers.
