FC Barcelona will soon play their final game of the preseason tour in Asia. Against Daegu FC, the Catalan side will need to be at their best to get one last positive result. However, with the official season coming up soon, Barcelona cannot afford to experiment much now.
Since this is the final game of the preseason tour, Hansi Flick might want to field a strong starting eleven. While two players are ruled out for this game due to a recent issue in training, the German tactician has a lot of quality in his squad to field a dependable starting eleven.
Here is how Barcelona could line up for the game against Daegu FC.
Expected Line-up:
Goalkeeper: Joan Garcia
Following two solid performances for Barcelona, it would make sense for Hansi Flick to start Joan Garcia in a third consecutive game.
Right-back: Jules Kounde
The French right-back always seems to add cover defensively while also helping out offensively. This ability to aid everyone around him makes him a great candidate to start.
Centre-back: Ronald Araujo
Despite the criticism and potential exit rumours, Ronald Araujo remains committed to Barcelona. Moreover, with Inigo Martinez expected to miss this game, he is a strong candidate to start alongside Pau Cubarsi or whoever starts as the other defender.
Centre-back: Pau Cubarsi
A young leader at the back, Pau Cubarsi’s presence instils confidence in the team despite his age.
Left-back: Alejandro Balde
With his pace and dribbling prowess, Alejandro Balde is always a threat on the left flank. In this upcoming game, Hansi Flick should rely on him to thwart the opposition’s flank as much as possible.
With Frenkie de Jong expected to renew his contract soon, the Dutchman’s importance for this team cannot be understated. A key component of the system, he remains extremely important for Hansi Flick’s side.
CDM: Pedri
The orchestrator of this Barcelona team, Pedri continues to make sure that the system works as intended and remains a focal point of this team.

RAM: Lamine Yamal
Following a brilliant display against FC Seoul, it would not make much sense for Lamine Yamal to not start this game.
Able to operate effectively in tight spaces, Dani Olmo can be a key piece whenever he plays and it would make sense for Hansi Flick to start him against Daegu FC.
The Brazilian forward continues to lead by example in this Barcelona team, and Hansi Flick knows that he can trust on him to lead the team both in attack and defensive actions.
