Barcelona manager Hansi Flick shares what he said to Lamine Yamal after win over Brest | OneFootball

FC Barcelona got a much-needed victory over Brest in their last night’s UEFA Champions League encounter, as they emerged winners with a 3-0 scoreline. Robert Lewandowski scored a brace while Dani Olmo also returned to scoring ways with another goal.

Naturally, Hansi Flick was quite relaxed and happy in the press conference following this game, which was in stark contrast to the demeanor he displayed in the presser after the Celta Vigo game.

In addition to some subjects related to the match, Mundo Deportivo reports that another question that was put to the Barcelona head coach was about his conversation with Lamine Yamal that took place at the end of the game and was caught on cameras.

Hansi Flick had no qualms about revealing what he had told the young winger: “I told him I hope he’ll be with us on Saturday against Las Palmas.”

There is no doubt that Flick will be hoping to have the youngster back available as soon as possible, as in his absence, the Blaugranes have been able to get only one win in the last three games.

The Spaniard suffered a problem in the match against Red Star Belgrade, and was unable to play in the game against Real Sociedad, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for the Catalans. Although Barcelona were able to get a victory without the 17-year-old winger against Brest, there is still no doubt about his importance in the team, and Flick will naturally be looking to get him back as soon as possible.
