Barcelona hold meeting with agents of attacker ‘often compared to Arjen Robben’ | OneFootball

Several members of the board at La Liga giants Barcelona this week held a meeting with the representatives of a highly-regarded up-and-coming attacker.

The player in question? Roony Bardghji.

Bardghji, for his part, is a 19-year-old winger, who is currently plying his trade in Denmark with heavyweights Copenhagen.

The starlet has long been considered a potential star in the making, culminating in comparisons with former Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Real Madrid standout Arjen Robben.

The aforementioned Barcelona, for their part, were credited with an interest in Bardghji’s signature on Thursday, tipped to launch a summer offensive for the Swedish youth international’s signature.

And as alluded to above, if ensuing word stemming from the media in the hours since is anything to go by, then the Blaugrana appear to be serious about the young attacker’s incorporation.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Alejandro Echevarría, Deco, sporting director, and Bojan, coordinator of Barça’s sporting management, had lunch this Thursday at the historic Triton restaurant, in Pedralbes, with the agent of Roony Bardghji.’

Ahead of the expiration of Bardghji’s contract with Copenhagen in December, Barca are keen to get ahead of the competition, to secure either a pre-contract agreement, or cut-price summer deal.
