Barcelona boss Flick secures La Liga award | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has on Monday secured for himself a prestigious individual prize.

This comes amid confirmation that the German has beaten out the competition to the award for La Liga Manager of the Month.

Flick, for his part, oversaw a trio of fixtures in Spain’s top-flight across the month of October.

And, across these outings, Barcelona only carried forth what has been a superb opening to the campaign in Catalunya’s capital.

First, on October 6th, the Blaugrana put Deportivo Alavés to the sword by three goals to nil.

Then, on the other side of the international break, it was Sevilla who were made short work of, Barca triumphing by five goals to one.

And Barcelona saved the best for last, this past weekend.

After making the trip to Spain’s capital for the season’s first Clásico, the Catalans ran riot, to the tune of a 4-0 victory.

Owing to such endeavours, Barca have opened up a six-point advantage atop the La Liga table, enough to secure for manager Hansi Flick the October Coach of the Month award:
