Barcelona add Atalanta star to transfer shortlist | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Barcelona have identified a fresh option, amid their ongoing search for fresh blood in the attacking third this summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Ademola Lookman as the player in question.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that Barcelona are on the lookout for reinforcements in the wide areas with a view to next season.

After coming up short in efforts to land first-choice target Nico Williams, however, Deco and co. have been forced to expand their search over the last week.

As things stand, the two favoured profiles come in the form of those of Premier League pair Luis Díaz, and Marcus Rashford.

But as alluded to above, should such deals prove too difficult to come by, a fresh backup target has been underlined in red.

As per a report from Sport:

‘The Blaugrana would also be looking askance at the situation of Atalanta’s star, Ademola Lookman. He is a player that Flick likes.’

Nigerian international Lookman is for his part fresh off another productive season in Bergamo, and is thought to be available for under €50 million.
