Atlético Madrid receive transfer green light from AC Milan star | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga giants Atlético Madrid have been afforded the seal of approval to move forward with a deal for AC Milan star Theo Hernández.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing transfer insider Matteo Moretto, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

Atlético, it is understood, are on the lookout for reinforcements at left-back with a view to next season.

The Rojiblancos have drawn up a list of potential additions, but one name sticks out above all others – that of Theo.

AC Milan are viewed as open to a parting of ways with their French international defender this summer, having already accepted an offer from Saudi Arabia.

Theo, however, is yet to give his approval to a move to the Middle East.

And it is Atléti who could well be behind this hesitance…

As per a report from MD:

‘Transfer journalist Matteo Moretto reported that Atlético already has the player’s approval regarding the details of the contract they would both sign.’

It is therefore now down to the transfer team at the Metropolitano to find an agreement with their counterparts in Milan.
