In recent hours, Spanish media have reported that brothers Iñaki and Nico Williams are facing fraud accusations. In response, the two brothers have decided to speak out.

Iñaki and Nico Williams issued a public statement after reports emerged that a complaint had been filed against them for fraud, linked to the purchase of a luxury car.

In a joint statement released on their social networks, the Ghanaian international and his brother Nico confirmed that legal proceedings are underway at the Aoiz court, but strongly denied any wrongdoing: "We categorically deny having committed any crime. There is no factual or legal basis to support the accusation of criminal conduct."

The two Athletic Club brothers state that the complaint is based on "unsubstantiated" facts and is intended to damage their reputation: "It deliberately conceals and distorts the reality of the facts." They suggest it is an attempt to force them into making an "improper payment" and reaffirm their commitment to fully cooperate with the Spanish justice system. "Our conscience is completely clear," they conclude.
