AS Monaco are set to sign Sevilla attacking midfielder Stanis Idumbo (20), according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.
L’Équipe understands that the Belgium youth international, who was born in France, is set to sign a long-term deal with the Principality club. An agreement between Monaco and Sevilla has already been reached and he is set to travel to the south of France on Thursday, ahead of a medical and the completion of the move.
Last season, Idumbo made 14 appearances for Sevilla in La Liga, including three starts. He will bring depth to the attacking positions at Monaco. It comes as one of those attacking players, Eliesse Ben Seghir, is on the cusp of completing a move away from his formative club.
As per L’Équipe, Bayer Leverkusen are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Ben Seghir. The fee for the Morocco international will be above €30m.
